David goes to School: Contemporary Examles of antisemitism to Facilitate Discussion

As an educator, the son of a Holocaust survivor, and someone who has experienced antisemitism firsthand, I wrote and illustrated David Goes to School to fill a gap I saw in educational resources. Through realistic, everyday situations, the book helps educators, parents, and community leaders recognize and discuss the contemporary forms of antisemitism people may encounter in everyday life.

This resource:

  • Presents realistic examples of contemporary antisemitism through relatable, everyday situations.

  • Encourages meaningful discussion through stories and guided reflection.

  • Helps readers recognize both obvious and subtle forms of antisemitism.

  • Supports educators, families, and community groups in facilitating thoughtful discussions about contemporary antisemitism.

  • Promotes empathy, critical thinking, and meaningful dialogue.
